Here are some stain removal tips to help you tackle common stains:

  1. Coffee or Tea Stains:
    • Blot the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to remove excess liquid.
    • Mix a solution of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
    • Dab the solution onto the stain and gently rub it in.
    • Rinse with cold water and repeat if necessary.
    • Launder the fabric as usual.
  2. Red Wine Stains:
    • Blot the stain immediately with a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb as much wine as possible.
    • Sprinkle salt or baking soda on the stain to absorb more of the liquid.
    • Rinse the fabric with cold water from the back of the stain.
    • Apply a stain remover or liquid detergent directly to the stain and let it sit for a few minutes.
    • Launder the fabric with cold water.
  3. Grease or Oil Stains:
    • Place a clean cloth or paper towel on both sides of the stain and blot to remove excess oil.
    • Apply a small amount of dishwashing liquid directly to the stain and gently rub it in.
    • Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse with warm water.
    • Launder the fabric as usual.
  4. Ink Stains:
    • Place a clean cloth or paper towel underneath the stain to prevent it from spreading.
    • Dab the stain with rubbing alcohol using a clean cloth or cotton ball.
    • Blot the stain gently until the ink transfers onto the cloth.
    • Rinse the fabric with cold water and launder as usual.
  5. Grass Stains:
    • Mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and liquid dish soap to form a paste.
    • Apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
    • Gently scrub the stain with a soft brush or toothbrush.
    • Rinse the fabric with cold water and launder as usual.
